How to Clean Your Bathroom in 10 Minutes
These tips are meant to provide you with a clean bathroom in 10 minutes. Be sure to a deeper, more thorough cleaning once per week. I clean all of my floors once per week, so you’ll notice I haven’t included them in the steps below.
Before starting Operation Clean Bathroom, gather the necessary supplies into a caddy to easily carry them from one bathroom to the next:
Microfiber cloths, cleaning wipes, or paper towels. If using microfiber cloths, be sure to have one for mirrors, one for each sink, and one for each shower.
Glass and mirror cleaner

1| Ventilate. If your bathroom has a window, open it. The ventilation will allow fresh air in and helps surfaces to dry quickly. I open my windows even in the cooler months. The blast of cooler air is often refreshing.
2| Return Items to Where They Belong. Put away lotions, toothpaste, and other products that don’t need to be on the counter tops. Our bathrooms have pedestal sinks, so leaving items out isn’t practical for us.
3| Spray. Spray the mirror, sink, counter tops, and shower with the appropriate cleaner. Spray these surfaces and let the cleaner do it’s job while you move on to cleaning the toilet.
4| Tackle the Toilet. When I moved out on my own, my mom gave me a lot of advice. She told me that a clean toilet is the sign of clean home. Because of that advice, I like to give a little extra attention to our toilet bowl. The new Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Scrubber has a flexing head design which allows maximum contact with the toilet bowl; it scrubs the messes you’ve been leaving behind. With built-in bleach alternative cleaner with pumice scrubs away rust and hard water stains.
5| Wipe Surfaces, Restock, and Empty Trash. Wipe down all of the surfaces that you sprayed before cleaning the toilet. Restock toilet paper, bathroom tissue, hand towels, and refill soap dispenser. Shake out any bath rugs or mats so they’re looking their best! Empty the trash.
6| Accessorize. I love flowers in the home. Our hydrangeas were amazing this year, as they are every year. I clipped a few just after their color popped, they’re a beautiful addition to the bathroom.
