Today my sweet baby boy turns 18-months old. Happy Half-Birthday little man!
I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. In my mind, it was only yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. Fumbling through feedings, diaper changes, and clothing changes. Remembering to eat myself – I was breastfeeding, so it was very important for me to eat. I lived on Peanut Butter and Jelly for the first two weeks. Or maybe three.
So much has changed in a relatively short amount of time. My little one and I are more comfortable with diaper changes and meal time. (My husband is still working to become proficient in both areas!) The Boy has mastered walking, is developing an amazing vocabulary, enjoys a variety of foods, and has wonderful manners too!
Another perk to being a more experienced mom is that The Boy and I can now leave the house without 40 diapers and 40 changes of clothes. I no longer carry a diaper bag, as my fancy handbag has morphed into one. On a typical day, you’d find these must haves:
- One sippy cup
- One package of Plum Organics Fiddlesticks
- Diapees and Wipees case
- One BabyGanics Germinator
