I struggled with a sinus infection for the better part of a month. It was awful. Absolutely awful. I felt as though there was a person banging on the inside of my head with a hammer. At the moment I felt I couldn’t go on any longer, a Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier arrived on my doorstep.
Quickly, I unwrapped it and decided that we should put it in our living room. That’s the room where we spend the most of our time. I wanted The Boy – who suffers from seasonal allergies – and The Texan – who has occasional sinus issues and bouts with Asthma – to benefit from using it as well.
Set up was easy. You just remove it from the box, remove a bit of protective wrap from the front and the included HEPA and Carbon filters, plug it in, and push the Power button. Easy-peasy. The Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier is perfect for a busy mom to set up. I made sure that the unit was set to “Auto” which would allow it to self-adjust the fan as needed during operation.
At the time we first set our unit up, we were using a window Air Conditioning unit in our living room. I suspected that our air quality was poor, but didn’t expect to see the Air Quality rated as poor on the unit’s Air Quality scale.
PlasmaTrue™ Technology removes airborne pollutants and gets air cleaner at the molecular level, instantly neutralizing viruses and germs in the air
The Air Quality scale remained red (or poor) for several minutes before turning to green, which lets you know that the quality of your air is good. I breathed a sigh of relief of my clean air!
True HEPA Filter safely removes 99.97% of particles and impurities as small as 0.3 microns, including mold spores, pollen, dust mites, allergens, cigarette smoke, pet dander and odors.
Air purifier includes an air purity sensor that monitors the air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed to keep your air cleaner.
I love the fact that the unit works quietly to purify the air and doesn’t take up a lot of floor space. The Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier is perfect for rooms up to 300 square feet. We will be adding a few more to our home to ensure all of the air we breathe is clean and free of impurities. Right now, the Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier is available for sale through Amazon.com for just $119! That is a savings of more than 65% off the suggested retail price. We used to use a smaller air purifier when we lived in a basement apartment. The cat and the dust it made the already dry air just dusty and really irritated both me and the Husband. Glad that it’s working well for you!

I am an allergy and asthman sufferer and have chronic problems made worse in the fall and spring by all the particles floating around. I have often thought about investing in one of these but felt they were so expensive and couldn’t make it work in my budget. But this particular unit sounds amazing and it is affordable… might have to invest for the fall!

A quiet air purifier is a MUST. I can’t tell you how many I have owned that made way too much noise! The Fellowes AP-300PH Air Purifier sounds amazing!

We have several seasonal allergy sufferers in our home. I’m sure an air purifier would make a big difference during high allergen times of year.
