I’m a happy gal. I see the good in {most} people. I make the best of {most} situations.
I am an optimist.
Being an optimist can sometimes be rough. People wonder what you’re always so happy about. How you can be positive about {almost} everything.

Life is too short to spend it being miserable. Things don’t always go my way. It’s upsetting at times, but I don’t dwell on it. I know that Life isn’t fair. Because:

What’s your glass look like? Half Empty? Half Full? Either way, there’s always room for more!

What what NaBloPoMo is all about? NaBloPoMo, created by the brilliant minds at BlogHer, is a month long blogging challenge to encourage you to write daily about a specific prompt. Today’s prompt was “Is the proverbial glass half empty or half full?” Although sign ups to participate in this month’s Blog Roll have closed, the daily prompts are available here.

That is one of my very favorite Bible verses. Matthew 6:34 (NIV) “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”… Some days it’s harder to remember than on others, but it’s such a great lesson. A lesson I really needed to be reminded of today. Thank you for this post!
i ama very optimistic person. These quotes are great! my favorite is “everything happens for a reason”
I am an optimist too. I think it really helps me in life.
I try very, very hard to be an optimist. I try to keep everyone else from focusing on the negative, and doing so keeps me from ruminating on something that has gone wrong and falling into depression myself. I have always struggled with depression and will for the rest of my life due to my health issues. I try to focus on the things I have to be thankful for, my family, and on what I can do to make their lives better. I have come to realize that taking care of others and making everyone feel a little bit better is what I am supposed to do in life, I can deal with my pain by taking pain away from others. That is why I am going back to school to become a nurse.
Also… in relation to your last question… the glass is always full – it contains 1/2 air and 1/2 liquid!
I love happy, optimistic people. Sometimes it’s so hard to see the bright side of a tough situation. Keep thinking positive and keep these inspiring posts coming 🙂
We are two hearts that beat to the same rythym! I too am an optimist, even when life gets hard. Well, especially when it does. I have a faith and savior that is with me through it all! Knowing that God has laid the plans for my life and Jesus holds my hand through them lets me smile….even through the tears! And let me just tell you that I know you are a blessing to others! Nothing gets to me more than rude people. People tell me I always smile, ect. That’s not because my life is easy or I’m always happy. But I care enough about other people to know that my actions and mood affect them too. Whatever I may be going through, someone is always going through worse and who would I be to give out bad attitudes when I never know when the person in my path my just be kicked down a little more by doing so! Great post!
I love this post. I try to be optimistic as much as possible. I really like the picture of the “always always something to be thankful for” sign. That is so true.
