I’m fortunate to live on Cape Cod and have the beaches nearby and tons of fun {mostly free} activities going on all summer long! I spend a lot of my time looking at the beautiful water of the Cape Cod bay as it laps the shore at Sandy Neck Beach.
Of course, in order to enjoy that view, a lot of work is done first. Let me know if I’ve forgotten anything!
I mentioned last week that I am looking forward to taking in a few Cape Cod Baseball League games with The Boy and The Texan this year. We missed out last year because The Boy was going to bed much earlier than he is now!
Once Summer Camp is over, I’d love to take a short family vacation. I think I’ll start working on those details now. Where should we go? I’m thinking Orlando might be fun. Or New Hampshire. Or the Caribbean.
What is something you are excited for this summer?
We would love to join you for some Summer League games this summer!! Also NH is a fun trip. We were thinking about going up at the end of Sept or beginning of October to the Loon area and we could do Storyland etc while up there! But I have fond memories of riding the gondola up the mountain and spelunking around in the glacial caves!
We’re (possibly) doing DC at the end of September & have a wedding in early September, so NH is more likely for our mini-vacation. We’ll probably go the last week of August. I’m eager to check out Storyland, too! And, The Lost River!
