I am really big into organization. I find that staying organized really helps our household work and stay on track. With labels on things in our kitchen, it makes it also makes it easier for my kids to find what they want or put things in the right place.
I started small with my labeling project and grabbed my salt crock.
I used adhesive stamps from Martha Stewart and some leftover acrylic paint that I had around the house.
Once I was comfortable with using the stencils and paint, I moved on to other items that didn’t have a specific stencil for the item like my salt one did.
I also had my daughter, H, help me free hand one of the words for fun.
Do any of you label things in house to help the kids (or your other half) find things/know where to put things?
I hope you will stop by my blog, Just Us Four, to see the other things I’ve been up to. I have my eye on my soap container for an etched label next and will definitely be sharing that project with my readers.

I love our label maker. I was thinking of getting some vinyl lettering done for our canisters but haven’t had a chance to focus on organization yet. Great idea!

I always say I’m going to label items in my kitchen so they get put back in the proper place, but I hate those boring white labels. Your stencils look fun, fresh and eye-catching!
