Are you an instagrammer? If you aren’t, what are you waiting for?! I love, love, love it! (I’m @naptimeismytime, would love you to follow me over there!) If you love photographs too, or think you might want to try sharing your photos with others, you should check out the awesome InstaFriday series over at LifeRearranged. It’s a fun place to share your week in photos and take a look into the lives of others. So much fun to see what others are doing!!
Our week was super busy! We spent the weekend taking in the local Seaside Festival (check it out next year, friends!) and visiting CobWebb farm for pumpkin choosing and hay riding.
The Seaside Festival has a carnival midway, fried oreos, and rows and rows of crafty vendors. Remember the toddler adirondack chair with anchor decal I created earlier this year for The Boy? Well, the chair itself was purchased from a vendor at the Seaside Festival many moons ago!
Despite my fear of traveling carnival rides, I let The Boy choose four rides to enjoy. {He’s four, so four rides. Makes sense, and keeps the wallet in check.} He was so patient in line waiting his turn. It’s amazing to watch your child go from an impatient toddler to a preschooler who understands taking turns and letting others go first.
CobWebb farm in West Barnstable was a blast. I mentioned in an earlier post this week that we stopped there to pick up a pumpkin and enjoy the hayride. The Boy loved it. And that’s what parenting is all about. Watching the joy sweep across your child’s face.
He pretended he was a skeleton…
And enjoyed being pulled in the wagon…
The weather has been BEAUTIFUL on Cape Cod. Sometimes the shoulder season is the best time of year to be here. We checked out the boardwalk at Grey’s Beach in Yarmouth. A nice walk, a great view, and wildlife, too!
I couldn’t believe that the bunny sat and waited. Looks like he was posing. This is about the time that I wished I brought my big girl camera with me.
The lifeguard stands are still in place, though no signs of anyone on the water.
By mid-week, temps were cooling. But, I was still sporting my Dansko sandals!
I’ve been drinking a bit more coffee, typical for me this time of year. Best decision of the week: topping a cup with whipped cream and a bit of pumpkin pie spice. Yummy.
Driving home from preschool drop off, I found Car 3. Still missing, Car 54.
What are you doing with yours?
