Can you believe that we’re already twelve weeks into 2013? I feel like it was only yesterday that I was thinking about and writing my post. Okay, back to the topic at hand – menu planning!
I love to menu plan. It’s makes my days and nights much easier, and takes the chaos out of the 5 o’clock hour! It’s true. The only time The Texan and I really talk about “what’s for dinner” is if I can’t decide on a week’s worth of dinner. Thankfully, last week we were busy and didn’t make everything that . Sometimes it pays to stray from the menu plan a bit.
Monday – Rugby night! Woo-hoo! The Texan is having steak; The Boy will have breakfast and I’m going to have a salad and a veggie burger.
Tuesday – Mahi Mahi with salad and sweet potato fries
Wednesday – Date Night!!
Thursday – Rugby night! Simple dinner of
Friday – Pizza and salad
Saturday – Oven Roasted Chicken with Savory Mashed Cauliflower
Sunday – Easter dinner out. I’d better make a reservation somewhere quickly!
What does your menu plan look like this week?

Yum! I’m trying so hard to make some sort of menu plan for the week. As it is now we have 3 nights that we always have the same thing for. One is pizza night, the other is souplantation night 🙂 and the other is eat out night. I just need to fill in the gaps!

It sounds like your menu plan is nearly completed! Maybe you should start by writing down what your family ate last week and what you’re eating this week – that will prompt a few recipe ideas for next week I’m sure!

I really need to be better about creating a menu plan. I do one or two days and then I just lose steam.
