Last week, we were quite busy and some of the items on our menu plan were never made. It’s tragic when that happens, really. That means that we’re either eating out or ordering in. Not good for the waist or the wallet. This week, we’re sticking to the plan.
Monday – Jamaican Grilled Chicken Wings and Butterfinger Brownies {We didn’t eat these last night. Last night we had the most delicious Florentine Lasagna rolls. Those were supposed to be eaten on Saturday, but Saturday was a rugby day and that threw off the menu plan a bit!}
Tuesday – Leftover Florentine Lasagna Rolls, Wings, or Chili. There is a lot of food in our refrigerator that needs to be eaten before it spoils. I hate throwing away food. It is so wasteful.
Wednesday – Game One of the World Series. Can you believe that the Red Sox are in it after the deplorable season last year? To celebrate, we’re having meatball subs. Nope, not ball park food. But easy and fun to eat.
Thursday – Turkey Tacos. Yep. On a Thursday. Typically, I like to eat tacos on Tuesday, but this week we’re changing it up a bit!
Friday – Homemade Pizza. Last week’s pizza was so delicious, we’re going to make another this week!
Saturday – The Texan is traveling for rugby (wish them luck!), so The Boy and I will have breakfast for dinner. Pumpkin Waffles sound good. Don’t you think?
Sunday – Crab cake sandwiches. Oh yeah. You know, the great thing about crab cakes is that they’re {fairly} easy to make and they taste delicious. It’s one meal that everyone in our family loves.
What’s cooking at your house this week? Are you trying anything new?

I would love to try the Jamaican Chicken! And the Pumpkin Waffles sound good too! So far this week I’ve been a total fail b/c I’ve only made one meal – Pork Belly Brussel Sprout Salad.
Pumpkin Waffles are so tasty! I even made my own pumpkin puree to go in the batter.
