hello! hello! We’re finally seeing a bit of Spring here on Cape Cod and everyone is excited!!! This week’s menu plan has NO COMFORT FOOD – though it will all be tasty and delicious. We’re still eating our way through a bit of leftover lasagna from last week, but after that is gone no more. Here’s to fresh, simple, delicious food with lots of grill marks.
Monday – Surf and Turf: Grilled Steak and Mahi Mahi. Yum.
Tuesday – Grilled Chicken with rice and veggies
Wednesday – Grilled Shrimp Skewers
Thursday – Burrito Bowls. Taco Tuesday used to be a fun tradition, but Burrito Bowls are much healthier.
Friday – Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Saturday – Jamaican Grilled Chicken Wings
Sunday – Let’s make Chinese Food
I’m also going to make some chocolate chip cookies; last week crept by without me making them!
And, I need to make another batch of Tabbouleh Salad. I love that stuff. Don’t you?
I enjoy the spring time so much. We were finally able to bring out the grill and turn off the heat over the weekend. It’s great to have sunny days and not need my snow boots. I love winter, but come the first day of Spring, it’s time for the flakes to quit falling.
What are you most looking forward to this Spring?

I really should start sharing what I am going to make every week as then I might actually start cooking again 🙂

Writing a weekly menu plan helps me stay focused. It is great when my husband wants to help with dinner, too. He can read the blog and see what I’m planning – then get started. He’s in charge of rolling the pizza dough every Friday night, but likes to jump in other nights, too.
