I’ve never been very good at telling jokes. If I remember the punch line, I usually give it away before the end of the joke. Not everyone is a comedienne, right?
The Boy, nearly three years old, is quite the joke teller. He gets that trait from The Texan. The Boy has been practicing the following Knock-Knock joke since Thanksgiving. His delivery improves each time!
The Boy: “Knock-knock”
Me: “Who’s there?”
The Boy: “Sarah”
Me: “Sarah Who?”
The Boy: “Sarah reason you’re not laughing?”
Does your child have a funny joke that they tell?

This was my absolute favorite joke as a child. I thought it was hilarious:
What’s the difference between a fish and a guitar?
You can tune a guitar, but you can’t tuna fish!
The funny thing is that I had to have it explained to me why it was funny. I didn’t really know what a pun was at the time. But once I got it, I thought it was the funniest thing I’d ever heard.
