When I think about heading to the movies, or watching one on a DVD, I want to laugh. I don’t want to jump out of my own skin.
I don’t want to be scared. I want my sides to ache from laughing.
I don’t want to jump when I see a shadow. I want to roll off the couch because I have lost control of my movement from laughing.
You won’t catch me at a midnight showing of the latest scary movie. I love comedies.
How about you?

I’m with you – comedies are much less stressful!

I like a good scary movie —but the psychological thriller kind, not the gory horror movie kind. They give me nightmares, so I only watch one every once in a while.

My husband is really bad about scary movies- he absolutely will NOT see them. I like to see like one scary movie a year, lol, but it’s EXTRA scary because my husband won’t watch it with me so I have to watch it while he’s out of town!! Every time I do it I say that I’ll never watch another scary movie again! 😉 I prefer comedies as well!

I actually love scary movies and things that make me jump. I don’t know why, but may have something to do with being an adrenaline junkie.

I love scary movies. Horror is my favorite genre. I love being scared and not knowing what’s going to make me jump next.

I think my age has a lot to do with my taste in movies. When I was in my twenties and even my early thirties I loved scary movies, but now I have no interest in them at all.

I like dramas, romantic movies, comedies and I really have to be in the mood for a scary one so I can relate. And I don’t like to watch them alone 😉

I’m with you, comedies are much better. I rarely get time to sit and enjoy a whole movie, I want to be entertained not terrified.

I like movies that are suspenseful, but not gory. Nothing where people get tortured or hacked up. One of my favorite horror/suspense movies that has almost no violence is the original Wicker Man. Rear Window is another great one.
