One of The Texan’s favorite things from Trader Joe’s are the Spicy Almonds. The Spicy Almonds cost an arm and a leg AND contain only TWO ingredients. I’m all about saving a buck or two. So, I decided to give it a whirl and make these myself!
Ingredients: (Those of you who’ve been following my blog know that I don’t generally use a measuring cup, but this time I did!)
1/2 cup Raw Almonds
1 tsp Tabasco Sauce (36 drops. Yes, I counted for you.)
Cooking Technique:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add Raw Almonds and Tabasco Sauce to zip-top bag. Shake well.
Pour Tabasco coated almonds onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 3 minutes until almonds appear dry. (I used leftover parchment sheets from this exciting day.)
Next go around, I’m going to bump up the Tabasco sauce. These are a quick, easy, and healthy snack!
