This is the first weekend of the summer that we won’t be heading to the beach. I’m bummed, but the forecast is for showers. Here are some fun things to do this weekend on Cape Cod:
Saturday:
Summer Arts & Crafts Festival, Brewster: This fun show features great foods, demonstrations, musical entertainment, locally made arts & crafts, pottery, candles and more. While at Drummer Boy Park, take notice of their great playground and beautiful gazebo (great for a family photo!). The show runs from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 3pm on Sunday.
Woods Hole Film Festival, Woods Hole: This week long event features great movies, parties, and panel discussions. Movie screenings take lace at Redfield Auditorium, 57 Water Street. Call 508-495-3456 for additional details.
Sunday:
Tours of Nauset Lighthouse, North Eastham: A vacation to Cape Cod is not complete without touring at least one lighthouse! Head to North Eastham for a guided tour of Nauset Lighthouse. Tours are from 4:30 – 7:30pm, parking is available in the Nauset Light Beach parking lot.
Cruise Hyannis Harbor, Hyannis: Hop aboard the Hy-line for a beautiful one-hour cruise of Hyannis Harbor. You’ll see Great Island, the Kennedy Memorial, Squaw Island, the Kennedy Compound, and more! There are multiple trips daily, and kids ride free on all morning trips! Call 508-790-0696 to learn more!
Luke’s Love Boundless Playground: Head over to our favorite playspace! We love Luke’s Love Boundless Playground because children of all abilities are able to play here. Maybe we’ll see you there?
