Our family likes to celebrate summer by spending long, endless days at the beach. We load our SUV with everything except our kitchen sink and stay until the sun sets. We fire up the barbecue, we play games, we drink yummy summer concoctions, and we spend time with family.

We took a family vacation that included aunts, uncles, cousins and grandma. We camped and visited whatever fun thing was in the area.
My favourite summer memory is from two summers ago. I spent the whole day hiking the trails with an old friend. It was so much fun.
I always think about picking grapes, nectarines, plums & more in my grandparents backyard.

My favorite summer memory is going down the shore each summer with my family. We started this when I was about 8 and continued to go every year, even with my kids, my brother and his family and my parents up till last year. That’s for over 40 years now. This year is the first year we’re not going because we lost my Mom and my Dad doesn’t really want to go. But those years at the beach, really are wonderful memories.

My favorite memories were the road trips my dad always took us on…whether it was to see other states/National Monuments or just to my grandparent’s house – it was always an adventure!
one of my more recent ones was taking my niece swimming last summer. it was her first summer and the first time i was an aunt.
My favourite summer memories are every summer I’ve had since I had my little one. Walks, playground playing, aquarium tours. 🙂 Going to the beach. Only, in Texas – the best summer is winter – way to hot to go out in summer.

I gotta say my favorite summer memory is hanging out with my family at the pool. We never did any family vacations, but swimming in the pool was always fun.

my favorite summer memory is when my dad taught me how to fish when i was a kid and i went to go cast the line and i hooked his arm lol it was so funny i remember being so scared i was gunna get in trouble and now i look back on it and it makes me giggle every time!:P

The summer of 2006 my brother got out of the Marines. He was stationed in San Diego at the time. My husband and I flew out there, then we took two weeks driving back home to FL. We stopped several places along the way to spend a few days and see the sites, including Las Vegas and New Orleans. It was just such a fun road trip with my two favorite guys.
