Six weeks. Wow. That is a long time to not wash your hair. I am enjoying being suds and toxin free. My hair continues to be soft and manageable.
I’m sure that I’ve saved a bit of money too. I no longer purchase shampoo or conditioner, and since I’m not having to “wash” my hair daily I’m taking much shorter showers. In my house, that means I’m using less oil too…we live in the Northeast and use “home heating oil” to heat our water and our home during the winter.
There is still time to join us! Initially, I thought the pledge would be something I would “try” for the summer. I figured if my hair were nasty, I could blame it on the salty air and the sun. The pledge will continue through the summer with these fun weekly updates. And I promise to include pictures now and again, too.
If you’ve already signed up for the pledge, how are you doing? Have you experienced any “issues” with it?
The Pledge
I am committing to using only baking soda and vinegar to clean my hair from Memorial Day to Labor Day. {Please link ONLY to your blog home page. No giveaways, contests or promotions. Thanks!}

hi, i’m a old follower who’s refollowing at your new spot.
Did you get your hair cut this weekend?!
I did! Finally. Not much of a change, just a trim to get rid of the “dead ends”…pictures to come later this week!
