Today’s guest blogger is one of my newest bloggy friends. I think we were destined to be bloggy friends as we are both huge fans of nap time! Have you met Holly of Holly at Nap Time before? Her blog is one mother’s fight to win back a little time for herself. In between diaper changes, food splatters and snuggle time Holly brings you recipes, crafts, ideas for toddler activities, reviews and a peek into her adventures as a stay-at-home-mom.

Hi! I’m Holly from Holly at Nap Time, and I was thrilled when Emily asked me to write a guest post while she takes some well deserved time off.
If you’re familiar with my blog, you’ll know that I love to focus on activities for the family that are unplugged. I believe there is creativity in everyone, and I hope to give you the little spark you need to let it shine! Here are some fantastic ideas for Thanksgiving treats for kids. That’s right… sometimes it’s ok to play with your food.
Teeny Turkey Finger Sandwiches
Even the pickiest eaters will be tempted to try these cute little critters from Disney’s Family Fun. Make them together for a fun snack, or surprise your kids by sneaking these in their lunchbox in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. They also make great appetizers… because we all know that the smell of a turkey in the oven stirs up an appetite.
What’s a gathering without a cheese and cracker spread? The kids will love helping to assemble this Scarecrow Cheese Ball from FamilyCorner.com. Filled with just the right amount of cream cheese and garlic powder, this scarecrow will be gone before you know it (so don’t forget to take a picture before setting him out!)
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Pilgrim Hats
After you get over how incredibly cute these little pilgrim hats are, you’ll be even more impressed with how EASY they are to make! Seriously, step 1 and done. All you do is attached peanut butter cups to fudge striped cookies with frosting. No baking required! (These hats can also be made with chocolate covered marshmallows if you have a little more time.) This “recipe” is from KidActivities.net.
