One of The Texan’s good friends is a pilot. He flies celebrities anywhere they want to go. Each time I hear about one of his adventures, I think about how fun it would be to use charter plane service for our next vacation.
I sit back and imagine The Texan and I leaving from the municipal airport in our town and jetting off to Las Vegas in our own plane. (Whenever we talk about taking a vacation, Las Vegas always comes up. We were married there and LOVE to visit.) In the air, I picture us eating lobster and drinking mojitos with freshly muddled mint.
Once we land in Las Vegas, we’d deplane “Presidential” – you know, where they scoot the stairway to the plane and you walk down onto the tarmac. Naturally, I’d be wearing a large hat and big sunglasses, and would appear wealthy and famous. Which celebrity would I be mistaken for?
Since this is my dream trip, we would win at every slot machine, every hand of Texas hold ’em, and every game of Roulette, too!
