Busy mom. Busy kid. That often means snacking on the go or at the last minute. Trying to find quality products that are conveniently packaged was a challenge until I discovered Stonyfield‘s newest product: YoKid yogurt pouches. These organic yogurt pouches are found in the dairy section of many local grocery stores.
I grabbed a few of the flavors that I thought The Boy might be willing to try. I was right. He ate the blueberry pouch while I was putting away the groceries! That’s always a good sign. Choosing organic is important to me; especially when it comes to dairy and food that The Boy will be eating.
One ingredient we avoid eating is high fructose corn syrup, and Stonyfield does not use high fructose corn syrup in the YoKid yogurt pouches. I like that. I’ve been eating the Stonyfield brand for years, and the lack of high fructose corn syrup plays heavy into that decision. Using organic, natural ingredients is something that is important to the Stonyfield brand and to me.
Don’t you love having something in common with a big business? I know I do!
The Boy is turning five soon, and he “isn’t a baby anymore”, but for those of you who are fortunate enough to still have a baby, Stonyfield offers YoBaby and YoToddler yogurt pouches. They’re made with the same high quality ingredients as the YoKids pouch. It’s smart that they’ve created a wonderful line of products that moms can feel great about serving their infants all the way though the fun, active elementary school years!
If you have older kids, grab a few of the yogurt pouches and toss them in the freezer. When you’re preparing lunches, toss a frozen yogurt pouch in and it will be ready to eat by lunch time! Awesome, right? Just be sure not to re-freeze a yogurt pouch that has defrosted.
