Toni is encouraging us to share the craziest thing we’ve ever done as part of the 30 Days About Me series she’s hosting on her blog.
I crashed a wedding. It was July of 2003, my BFF and I were at the Disney Boardwalk for dinner and drinks. After too much food, and too many drinks, we crashed a wedding. It seemed the reception was close to wrapping up – the cake had already been cut, there wasn’t a single piece left for us! We danced with the invited guests – and enjoyed a free beverage too!
And, if that was your wedding, thanks so much for the great night!
That’s a great one. We lived near Disney, and always wanted to attend a Disney wedding!
Your story reminds me of a “crashing” story! When I was in my 20s, the guy I was dating and I “crashed” a private party on a boat/restaurant in Philly. I’m still not sure how he got us past the guy at the entrance, but it was pretty awesome!

That is hilarious!!!! I would have loved to have been there for that 😉
LOL that is awesome.
I’ve always wanted to crash a wedding. Kudos to you!
I’m with Donna, I’ve always wanted to crash a wedding (or any party), but I’m such a “rule follower,” that I would be so paranoid the entire time!
oh my gosh! thats awesome and hillarious all at the same time! I bet that was a blast..

Bwahahahahah! I have ALWAYS wanted to do that. My sister did it last year, and even congratulated the bride and groom 🙂
Especially at Disney… this sounds like a blast!
Love it! I did the samething this year with my hubby and my brother, my sister was getting married and the reception was taking too long with folks talking and stuff, so we heard some really loud music down the hall and we crashed, dranked and dance so much our feet hurt the next day!
Wedding crashing should be added to my life list! That sounds fun!!
that’s a good one! I don’t think I’d have the nerve!
You did it before it was trendy! I don’t think I would ever have the nerve!
