Preschool wrapped up last Thursday for The Boy, and today he begins what I hope will be a fun summer full of adventure, exploration, and great experiences with his friends. Summer camp for preschoolers. Who would have thought? I love that he has a bit of consistency to his schedule, though we’ve cut back from three days per week to two. He’s turning four next month, and it’s really a wonderful age. I want time with him, but I don’t want to take away his independence. {The little independence that an almost-four year old has anyway.}
I’ve been thinking about what we’re going to do this summer. What should we put on our Summer Bucket list. It’s a given to add long days at the beach, we bring a lot of stuff because we stay from early morning until…
the sun begins to set.
The more I thought about the memories we made last year, and the great experiences we had, I knew that I wanted to create a bucket list to ensure we don’t miss out on anything fun! Instead of printing it, I wrote it with Bic mark-it ultra fine point markers. They come in a variety of colors, I purchased mine at Staples.
I’m excited to start checking things off our bucket list. I’ll be documenting them as best as I can and creating a Project Life mini album with them. I think The Boy will enjoy having an album he can hold and look through during the year. Especially the winter, it will be here soon enough!
There are a few things that I would like to do, some behind the scenes work on the blog, have a few date nights with The Texan and watch the sunset over the harbor. A sunset cruise through the Cape Cod canal would be fun, too. We’ll see what the season brings!
So, what’s on your Summer Bucket list??

Hmm I want to attend a show at the zoo, go too the county fair, and schedule some true unplugged days.
I’ve been unplugging most weekends, with the exception of Instagram. It works great, but does make M-F much busier!
This is a great list! I’ve been working on ours but I feel like there’s still more to add.
I am fighting the urge to not add more to our list! It’s tough, but my paper is nearly full!
