Every mom is a busy mom. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t trust a mom who said she wasn’t busy! Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls are the busy moms answer to a protein packed breakfast.
Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls
The Boy is at the age where he prefers things that are just his size. Whether it is an adirondack chair, a backpack, or breakfast, he wants something scaled appropriately. Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls are perfectly sized for children, all while being packed with 9 grams of protein. {That’s more than a single egg!}
I chose a box of the Sausage, Egg and Cheese variety during a recent trip to my local Walmart. These are also available in a Bacon, Egg and Cheese. I would love to see them introduce a Southwest Chicken – maybe chicken, black bean and cheese. You can see my entire shopping adventure in my Google+ album.
It is no secret that breakfast foods are my favorite foods. I could eat breakfast-y foods for dinner every night of the week, but The Texan isn’t on board with that. Unless he is out of town, it’s breakfast at breakfast only. And, changing up our weekday breakfasts can be tough, especially on mornings when we have to get out to camp or another activity. This morning, I prepared the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls according to package instruction and served them with skewered fruits (who doesn’t love that?!), coffee for the grown ups and orange juice for The Boy.
The cooking time for one serving is under one minute in the microwave, for 2 servings it is less than two minutes. With four servings per box, you can prepare them all in under four minutes. That is longer than it takes many coffee makers to brew a pot of coffee. What a time saver! You could pop one into the microwave and your middle schooler could grab it and eat it on the way to the bus stop, husbands could easily eat them in the car on their commute to the office, and toddlers would think it was great fun to have a picnic in the living room!
Everyone enjoyed their Tyson breakfast bread bowls and we’ll be keeping a box of these on hand for future busy mornings! You can connect with Tyson on Facebook and Twitter to learn more about their products and upcoming promotions.
How do you make sure your family starts their day with a protein packed breakfast?

My guys LOVE the breakfast bread bowls and I love how easy they are to make! Your fruit kabobs look fabulous with them. Maybe I’ll try that one day this week:-)
The fruit kabobs were a huge hit – in fact, I made them for dinner last night and again this morning. Something tells me I’m going to need to buy stock in the wooden skewer company!
I love the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls, they are one of the few things my 5 year old enjoys for breakfast!
Isn’t it great to find something that younger children actually enjoy! It’s a struggle in our house.
I can’t wait to try these. They look so yummy. I’m always trying to keep breakfast time interesting here at my house. My daughter loves making her own scrambled eggs, we also always have an ice cold glass of orange juice to start our day.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy them – especially with the tall glass of orange juice!
Those bread bowls look so delicious!! Thanks for sharing! They would make a great breakfast for people on the run!
They’re perfect for busy families, and people rushing to get out the door in the morning! The smaller size makes it easy to hold, too.
Those look really good. I’m also really hungry right now and could eat one right off the screen, lol. Want!!!
Wouldn’t it be awesome if we had the ability to grab food through our computer screens?! Oh wait, on second thought….
Not even just for busy moms!! My husband takes these to work when he’s pulling long shifts at the fire department. He really likes them!
These look SO good! I may just have to grab some while I’m out tonight!
They’re super portable, too. Perfect for busy days – oh, and late night snacks!
These will be going on my shopping list!! They look so good and always up for quick ways to enjoy a good breakfast! Thanks for sharing and love the kabobs along with it :-)!
The kabobs have been a big hit! I’ve been “kabobing” everything lately.
Those look yummy! I’ll have to try them out.

I was just looking for quick breakfast foods the last time I was at the grocery store. I didn’t notice these ones tho, I’ll have to check again since these look really good.
I had a hard time finding them, too. There were two facings of each flavor, and with the endless choices of breakfast sandwiches, I nearly overlooked them!
Those look delicious for a quick and easy breakfast!
Ohhhh these look fantastic! What a neat way to include veggies etc in breakfast for kids! Running out to get there asap to experiment! thanks for the tip!
