The Texan and I are always talking about taking vacations. Always. Even when we’re on vacation, we’re talking about the next time we visit. Vacations are a great way to relax and recharge. One thing about vacations that it stressful is flying. That’s why I would love to use a for our trip.
If we had our own plane, the snacks would be much better. Think lobster rolls, buffalo chicken bites, and freshly baked brownies. How awesome would that be? Not eating a five dollar bag of stale chips and being famished when you get to your destination would be a dream come true.
Since we’d be travelling in our own plane, the departure time would be convenient for us. We’re currently a two hour drive from a major airport, so early morning flights are rough. It would be wonderful to have our plane pick us up from the municipal airport which is minutes away.
The seats would be comfortable. They would be spacious, leather, and clean. The cleanliness of airplane seats always gets to me. Why is someone else’s trash always in the seatback pocket in front of me?
A movie would be shown. Regardless of whether the flight was long enough to watch the entire film or not. And it would be a current movie, not Can’t Buy Me Love or Gotcha.
And, most importantly, the flight crew would be dedicated and attentive. I hate pushing those little call buttons when you’re riding back in coach because you want another glass of wine…errr, water.
