Today I was looking a the beautiful plate The Texan and I received as a wedding gift. Each time I look at it, I am reminded of how much fun our Las Vegas wedding was.
Y’all knew that we were married there. Right?
Anyhow, we chose Las Vegas because we knew that most of our guests would be travelling from somewhere. Why should we have our wedding in Orlando, when Las Vegas is so much more fun?! I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but The Texan chose our wedding date. I’m sure it had something to do with the college football schedule. We knew we wanted a fall wedding, and I don’t think there was a Saturday that both Texas and Florida State were off! We married on a Friday instead!
It was the most beautiful, relaxing, stress-free wedding that I have ever attended. Yep, stress free. The best thing about our wedding – aside from the fabulous friends and family members who joined us – was that I was not stressed at all. Once you select your date and time, you work with a wedding planner to coordinate everything. It was amazing. I would not change a single thing about that day.
Anyone who is thinking of getting married should consider having a Las Vegas wedding!
