I have been doing a bit of retail therapy lately. Which is odd for me, it’s rare that I “pull the trigger” and actually buy something. I’m more of a browser than a shopper. This is good for our family budget, I suppose.
After looking though my spring and summer clothing, I realized that I need to freshen up my wardrobe a bit. Some of the items in my closet aren’t “mom appropriate” clothing, I confess, there may be a skirt or two that is just too short! This items, naturally, are The Texan’s favorites!
This spring and summer The Boy and I will be participating in even more group activities, and I’m looking to add some modest clothing to my collection. I’m saying collection like I have a 40 by 40 walk in closet with a staircase which leads to 1000 pairs of shoes and 500 handbags. That’s not the case, nor would I want a closet that large!
I am excited about the bright and beautiful colors that I’ve seen while shopping. The color blocking is intriguing to me. The long, flowing dresses and skirts would be perfect for playing in the park with The Boy.
So far, I’ve purchased a few striped tops and a striped dress. My goals isn’t to fill my closet with stripes though! I’m hoping to add a few solid colored items as well. What fun pieces have you added to your closet for the upcoming summer season?
