Lately it seems that every time I switch on the evening news there is a story about a family losing their home to foreclosure or another business shutting it’s doors. The economic climate in our country is miserable. I don’t know where these Washington and Wall Street people are getting their information. Do they not walk the same streets that I do? Do they not watch the news like I do?
Losing your home or family business impacts everyone, especially children. In fact, it can be harder on the child than on the adults. Adults know that there will be another home to live in – eventually – and another place to work – eventually. But children do not understand these big changes. What they see is mom and dad not smiling anymore. They see boxes packed up all over their home. If you are forced to move to another school district, they will be forced to give up their friends. Children tend to blame themselves for “big” changes like these.
It’s so important that if you’re faced with the tough decision to file bankruptcy that you chose a reputable bankruptcy attorney. If you live in eastern North Carolina and are facing bankruptcy, Cary bankruptcy attorneys are able to help you. Think of your children. Make the call today.
