As a child, I was never interested in superheros. That could be because there were no brothers to expose me to them. I knew about Wonder Woman, and I’m pretty sure that I had a pair of her Underoos, but that is about it.
When I think about superheros, I don’t know which superpower goes with each superhero. Or whether or not Kryptonite is good or bad. I just know that having a superpower is cool.
I believe that I am a superhero – all moms are – and we all have a variety of superpowers. A few of my superpowers are:
The ability to go several days with little sleep.
I can multi-task. How many times have you been talking on the phone, replying to email, and coloring with your kiddos?
Pairing socks. I seem to have mastered the ability to pair socks.
I also had the ability to make milk. That one was my favorite.
So, moms, what’s your superpower?

Daily writing prompts can often become a great source of inspiration and encourage you to write about things you haven’t previously explored.
