As The Boy gets older, it’s important to The Texan and me to create great family memories and share whats good about life with him. We enjoy playing with trains and puzzles, reading books and coloring, as well as exploring the wonderful activities that are available in our community. Over the weekend, we made our annual visit to a local pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkin, play in the hay house, and enjoy a haunted hayride.
It wonderful being out in the fresh fall air and exploring the pumpkin patch. It doesn’t appear that this particular pumpkin patch actually grows the pumpkins, but it was still a blast for The Boy! He loved searching for the “right one” that we’ll later transform into a jack-o-lantern. With a little guidance from The Texan, he did find the “right one”.
Memories like these are important for every family. Welch’s recognizes this, and that is why they created the “Share What’s Good” movement. It’s all about sharing those special moments that occur each day with family, friends and loved ones – whether it’s at home or on the go. In conjunction with this, they also launched the “Share Your Moments” photo contest. Through Ocotober 25th, you may upload a photo of your favorite family moment to Twitter or Instagram for a chance to win $5,000! Imagine the type of memories you could create with a $5,000 prize?! I’m thinking v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n!! To learn more about the contest visit , and be sure to connect with Welch’s via Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
