You may remember that a few weeks ago I mentioned a friend living in Kansas City and I discussed the homes being a great value there. Well, I’ve had a lot of downtime this week and I’ve been browsing real estate all over the country to see how it compares to our area. There are several amazing Kansas City homes for sale right now!
I am amazed at how affordable things are in that part of the country. The homes are priced lower than our community and you get much more space. Isn’t that interesting? I am fascinated with the varying home prices across our country. In some areas, they seem to be so out of whack; while others seem priced to low in my opinion.
Do you pay less for things like eggs, milk, and gas in Kansas City as well? I wonder if it is all relative. Sort of like the super rich spend the same percentage of their income on food, housing, and transportation as the rest of the “common folk”, but we all judge them as being wasteful and excessive.
Are the homes affordable in your part of the country?
