I once read that people who live in New England consume more ice cream than people living in any other part of the country. That fascinates me as ice cream is typically associated with warm weather. I definitely eat more ice cream annually living in Massachusetts than when I lived in Florida.
On Saturday, we went to the 10th annual Arts in the Village festival. I mentioned it here. It was a fun day, we saw lots of cool artists displaying a variety of items. When it came time for lunch, we were all so hot that I made that executive decision that
ice cream is for lunch.
And that’s what we all ate.
The Boy chose chocolate – as he always does. Topped with jimmies (as they’re called here, you may know them as sprinkles).
The Texan has chocolate peanut butter.
I had the most delicious peppermint stick ever. Peppermint stick is a tough one to make, I’m happy that Smitty’s Ice Cream makes a good one!
