It is a growing trend these days that many of the free services bloggers heavily rely on to spread the word about their blogs are heading to the chopping block. This is causing me to panic a bit, and to do a bit of research into a new email subscription service. As I mentioned previously, my current service isn’t very dynamic. I’ve been doing more research, and think that Mad Mimi html email would be a great fit for my blog.
Mad Mimi is for those who are looking for a simple, affordable way to market themselves. I like simple. I like affordable even more. Currently, the blog is in the very early stages of a redesign, I’d love to revamp my email services when the rebranding effort is complete. Mad Mimi can help guide me through the design process and I’ll be able to customize my email in a way that coördinates with my blog’s design. This, my friends, is exciting to me.
The tired, generic look that I – along with so many other bloggers – use, isn’t doing a service to the blog or to my brand. In order to take the blog to the next level, the brand message needs to be consistent across all channels. And that includes the email subscription.
Getting started with Mad Mimi looks easy, too! All you need is a computer with an Internet connection, and any of these web browsers: IE 8 or later (PC), Firefox 3 or later, Safari 3 or later or Chrome. With Mad Mimi you never ever have to download and install anything. Never. I like that. You can get started right away and design beautiful html email communication on your own. I plan to sign up for the free plan – no credit card required – and once I am comfortable using it, I may upgrade to a larger plan.
How do you get the word out about your blog? Do you design your own email newsletters?
