Last year was my first time attending Type-A Parent Conference and it was AMAZING! So much inspiration, support, and fun. Conferences can be intimidating and stressful, but Type-A encourages inclusion and has a welcoming environment for all to feel supported and encouraged. It can be difficult to justify the time away from family to attend a blogging conference. But this one is not to be missed. Here are my Top 3 Reasons to Attend Type-A Parent Conference.
1) The Environment This conference is fairly intimate, with around 500 attendees. You won’t feel lost or overwhelmed. The planning is organized and there are a variety of speakers and topics that will interest
2) The Speakers and Sessions You can really hone your craft by attending conferences. Small, intimate round table discussions are fun and encouraging. This year at Type-A, you can expect to see sessions on Redefining Your Voice, Negotiating Your Rates, and Improving Your Photography.
3) The People You’ll meet your fellow blogging peeps (like me!) in real life!! For me, one of the most challenge pieces to working from home is the lack of interaction with peers. While it is great to connect on-line, face-to-face time is important too.
Invest in yourself. You’ll come home feeling tired and inspired!
