In early February, I shared with you that I am a Shaklee 180™ blogger. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 31 days since I started my Shaklee 180™ journey.
I hope that if you’re reading this, you’ll find some inspiration in my story. You see, I’m not that different from you. I am a mother and a wife. I am also adjusting to a few extra pounds that have snuck up on me over the last four years. These extra pounds are making me uncomfortable. I don’t like how my clothes fit; instead of buying a larger size, I am committing to getting healthy and losing weight.
Sigh.
Now I’m going to share a few photos with you. Taken March 1 and March 31.
That little pouch on my belly is disappearing, as is my butt. Hooray! I love seeing these results. Sorry about the horrible lighting on the March 31 photo, I didn’t realize it was so dark until it was too late. I tried to lighten it a bit, but that didn’t work either.
If you’re wondering how the Shaklee 180™ program works, you replace two meals per day with either a Shaklee smoothee or a Shaklee Meal-in-a-Bar. You have a sensible snack and a well-balanced third meal. When I first started the program, I missed eating breakfast but thought that it would be “weird” to have a Shaklee 180™ smoothee for dinner. I quickly adjusted having a Shaklee 180™ smoothee for breakfast – and another for lunch.
Because the evening meal is important to me, I’ve chosen to enjoy that meal with my family. You can see from my weekly menu plans, that we eat a healthy meal most nights. The Shaklee 180™ program allows you to be flexible with your meals, leaving room for pizza on Friday nights!
One of my favorite things about being a Shaklee 180 blogger is the support network that we have access to. I am so thankful to have a group of 89 other bloggers to share my struggles and success with!
Another great tool that I’ve enjoyed using is the Shaklee 180™ app, and find that it’s helpful to tracking my daily activity and calories. The Shaklee 180™ app is easy to use – simply input what you’ve eaten and the app configures the caloric content then subtracts it from your daily calories. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
Did you want to know how much I’ve lost so far? 5.25 pounds, and a combined 14.2 inches off my waist, bust, hips, and arms! Amazing, isn’t it! I feel great, and can’t wait to see what my April results will be!
People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180™ Program can expect to lose 1-2
pounds per week.

I did see your butt! I was looking at the left pic and was like what do you have to lose? But I’m in awe of your progress after one month! To be honest, your butt is the first place I noticed too!

In terms of the weight that I wanted to lose when I started the program, I am about 1/3 of the way to my goal. What I’ve learned so far is that the inches are much more important! I just got a treadmill today so I’ll be working out more. That should help me get beach ready sooner – and, to start feeling like “me” again!
