Earlier this year I participated in an anonymous blog critique. While I found some of the feedback that I received beneficial, some of it was not. I also thought that the time period allotted to critique was too short. I felt rushed to complete the review of the blogs that were assigned to me. And, I don’t feel that I was able to provide those bloggers with quality feedback.
Having said that…would you be interested in participating in an anonymous blog critique? We grow best through feedback from our peers, ya know!
Here’s how it will work:
Each participating blogger will be assigned one (or more) blog(s) to critique. I’ll email you with the name of your blog(s). You’ll want to take note of the layout, navigation, color scheme, fonts, photographs, how well is it organized and how long it takes to load. When you share your feedback with me, it’s important to provide the blog owner with what you love and what you’d change if it were your blog. Each submitted critique must contain praise and areas for improvement.

oh i love this idea, the only issue is i would have no clue how to really change anything so it would not help. I think i would love to know what to change. maybe I am just scared to know.
Keep in mind, that changing something does not necessary mean just the layout. It could mean adding more photographs to your posts, or something simple like that! Also, you do not have to agree with everything that is suggested in your critique – they’re someone else’s opinions and may not necessary coincide with your blogging goals either. I would love for you to sign up!

Fantastic idea. I am just getting used to blogging and would love someone to see if I need to change things
I’m IN! Thanks for inviting me~ what a great way for bloggers to connect and help each other out! I would be interested in reviewing as many as I am able- I have been designing sites and blogs for about 15 years.. I am planning on re-doing my own site soon- (what a mess that is- pay no attention!) LOL However, I would not mind some input and fresh ideas too! 🙂
