I can’t believe that we’ve completed ten weeks of this challenge. I’m proud of us for sticking with it. Yet sad about it, too. The more weeks that we complete, the closer we are getting to the end of the summer.
This week, there is a bit of a crisis. I am nearly out of vinegar, and so is my store! As you know, I prefer to use white vinegar for my rinse. It’s looking like I may have to switch to apple cider vinegar for a time. I’m not sure how I feel about this. Keep your fingers crossed that when we stop by the store today, white vinegar is back in stock.
My hair continues to look shiny and to be easy to manage. I’ve also noticed that I don’t have split ends, which often appear in the summer as a result of constantly pulling my hair back and up off my face and neck.
A few of you have asked for a photo of me with my hair down all the way. Here’s a photo I snapped with my iPhone, sorry for the funny expression – I look like I’m going to lunge at the camera:
I promise a better photo next time, with a less scary expression.
How have you been doing? Did you run into any vinegar shortages in your area? And to those of you who haven’t linked up with us, what are you waiting for??
The Pledge
I am committing to using only baking soda and vinegar to clean my hair from Memorial Day to Labor Day. {Please link ONLY to your blog home page. No giveaways, contests or promotions. Thanks!}

Why don’t you keep it up after the challenge is over? I’ve been doing this too, and my hair looks so much better. I don’t think I’ll ever go back! Can I ask why you use white vinegar? I’ve been using cider vinegar.
