Today’s fun topic in the 30 days about me series is Wedding Talk! Everyone loves wedding talk – except for The Runaway Bride.
The Texan and I married at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on November 11. We were surrounded by family and friends who traveled from all over the country to celebrate with us. It was a fantastic wedding weekend.
Every time I look at photos from our wedding day, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have such an amazing, supportive husband. Being his wife brings so much joy to my life.
After our week in Las Vegas, we returned to Orlando grabbed another set of suitcases and headed to the Dominican Republic for our two week honeymoon!

It was amazing. So beautiful and not too crowded. At the time, DR was so affordable. Initially, we looked at St. Thomas – the cost for 7 days there was more than twice what we spent for 2 weeks in DR. I loved the island – and the fact that we saved money, too!
