I was thrilled when New Daddy Gifts contacted me about reviewing their products. The products they offer are not only hysterical, but well made too! Haven’t heard of New Daddy Gifts? They are a new company based in Elm Grove, Wisconsin producing a clothing line, signs, and the book Daddy Needs a Drink. This company is owned by a dad! Love that!
According to their website, these products [were] created out of necessity. In an effort to increase the fathers role…these most unique items help secure the bond. Growing weary of #1 DAD shirts and Future Rock Star onesies, the clothing line vision came together. Wondering about the book? It’s about progressing the father-child relationship. Creator and owner Justin Brown was disappointed with the traditional books out there for children and decided to pen Daddy Needs A Drink.
You can see from the photo above that the packaging they ship their products in is very simple. I prefer that a company not use excessive packaging. It’s so much better for the environment to use a simple tissue wrap for a shirt. I received the Hey! Thanks for the National Debt tee. The tee is high quality, and holds up well to laundering. The 18 month size fit The Boy perfectly. And, he really liked wearing the shirt too!
When The Texan first looked at the shirt he said, “Where’d The Boy get that shirt? It’s hysterical!” I told him “NewDaddyGifts.com, of course!” We took The Boy for a walk downtown – and it was a nice enough day that we didn’t need jackets. Many people who saw the tee stopped us and told us how appropriate it is for these tough economic times, and how funny they thought it was. I agree. Every time, I see it, I have to laugh.
