Do you shop with Amazon? I have been using Amazon for several years, and have been a member of their Prime service for more than 5 years. I love how convenient shopping with Amazon is; and am super excited about how much easier they are making it!
Amazon recently partnered with Twitter on a collaborative project which allows you to place items in your Amazon cart {or on your Amazon wish list} without leaving your Twitter feed. Awesome, right? If you’re busy on-line {like me!} or leave far from major shopping areas {like me!} then this is perfect for you.
There are a few ways to find great items to purchase – either by following your favorite Amazon twitter handles {like @Amazon, @AmazonKindle, @AmazonTechDeals to name a few} or the hashtag #AmazonCart. As you see an item you must have, simple reply to the tweet using #AmazonCart and the lovely folks at Amazon will add it to your cart for you.
Since embarking on the 14 books in 2014 project, I’m always looking for something new to read. Using the #AmazonCart hashtag, I’m able to easily have samples sent to my Kindle. Once I read the sample, I can decide if I want to purchase the book or not.
Easy peasy.
The next time you’re in the waiting room at the doctor’s office, or sitting in line to pick up your kids from school, hop on Twitter and get your shopping done!
I am excited about one of my recent AmazonCart purchases – a banana slicer. It was delivered via UPS to the Post Office. Sigh. Getting myself to the Post Office is not one of my strong suits. Because I am looking forward to making chocolate covered banana slices, I know I’ll be picking it up soon.
Being an Amazon Prime member changed how I shopped – I’m still not sure how I functioned without it – and this new collaboration with Twitter has changed it even more! You can learn even more about this awesome, first of its kind service in this very short video:
What is the first thing you’re going to place into your #AmazonCart?

No joke, Amazon is truly my favorite website for ordering anything.
Before we ever go to stores to buy it, we check Amazon & 85% of the time end up ordering it from Amazon because it’s cheaper and will get here in time for whatever I need it for.

That’s too funny! My mom was here visiting for the weekend – she must have asked “Where did you get this?” about 10 times, my response was ALWAYS “From Amazon”! They have the best deals and fast shipping!

Oh and that twitter/amazon collaboration is so brilliant!

That is cool! I hadn’t heard of that yet and I definitely use both twitter and amazon a lot, how cool.

I’m a fairly new Amazon Prime member (January, to be exact!) and I am loving all these cool new features! Now I can use the cart, and they recently rolled out same-day delivery in my area, which I am super excited to use sometime, ha ha ha!

Confession: I’m jealous that you have same day delivery in your area! I think I need to move!
