Because we live in Florida and have sunny, beautiful weather most of the year, my family’s idea of a great vacation is not somewhere tropical.  No, no, no!  We like to go somewhere and cool off for a week or two.  In the past we have gone to Colorado skiing and to New York City at Christmas to sight see.  This year, I found our next destination while watching the Travel Channel on my Direct tv tampa.  They showed a special about Alaskan Cruises. I’ve always liked the idea of a cruise but all of the ones I’ve seen before were going somewhere tropical.  This will be perfect for us!  No more trying to coordinate meal times and make a decision about where to eat.  No more trying to keep track of everyone—they’ll all be on the boat! Plus there are many different excursions so there should be something to interest everyone.  I can’t wait!  Now we just have to pick a a couple of weeks when everyone is available and book it!
