It’s no secret that I like to keep things organized in my home. When you have an organized system that works for you, life is easier. You’re able to accomplish tasks quicker and don’t waste time looking for things that are out of place. This holiday season, I’ve decided to make several gifts and decorations myself. Since getting my Silhouette CAMEO, I’ve been a crafting fool! And, my craft supplies are in disarray. The amount of paper and printed media is out of control.
I don’t know how it happened, but packages of different crafting papers are floating are in every room in our house! I knew I had to take control before my holiday gift giving and handmade decor plan goes out the window. I grabbed a plastic file box that we had laying around and filled it with hanging file folders and stuffed those with individual folders. My plan was to label each folder and put the appropriate supplies in the box.
Labeling the folders was easy. I used my to indicate what type of craft paper was going in the folder, printed the label, and stuck it to the folder. Easy peasy. Once I got the hang of how to capitalize the letters, I was flying through my labels. Printing like a mad woman.
Once all of my labels were printed and all the folders were labeled, I put everything back in the file box. Now, I am ready to get my craft on this holiday season. I love label makers! Used them like crazy when I was working. Don’t have one at home though. Would definitely be nice to have around.
