When I was younger, I’m sure that I enjoyed popping bubble wrap. And, I’m sure that my doing so annoyed my mother.
The Texan recently taught The Boy how to do it. Although he’s not quite able to get the wrap to pop, he squeals with delight each time he stamps his little feet. As he gets older and gains weight, I’ll be subject to the annoying sounds of popping bubble wrap.
When that time comes, I hope that I’m able to appreciate the joy that he gets from it.

I have always liked bubble wrap. My mom sent me a large package and there was like 3 whole packages of the big bubble – bubble wrap. I would not part with it. It is still piled in the corner for about 2 months. When stressed I go in there to pop pop pop!!
I am a Special Education Teacher and this semester one of my students best reinforcement is popping the bubbles. He works the 2 problems and then pops a few – I do it with him! Makes for a fun day!
I shop online nearly every day so my kids are always excited to see the UPS man- not for whats IN the boxes, but rather, the boxes themselves and the bubble wrap! My sister is so obsessed with popping bubble wrap, I found a keychain where you can mimic bubble popping. Lol
I love popping bubble wrap and have shared this with my kids the oldest can do it we put it on the floor for the other two to stomp.
Yes, I love popping bubble wrap, I can’t help myself, I do it everytime I get my hands on the stuff!
I still pop bubble wrap, but I feel like using your feet is cheating! 🙂
