For many couples, conceiving a baby naturally can be a challenge. And many assisted reproductive treatments are costly and aggressive. The Stork by Rinovum Women’s Health is a more natural first-step in assisted reproductive treatments for couples who aren’t ready to try IUI or IVF. The Stork collects semen through natural intercourse and an applicator is used to deliver it outside of the cervix as an aid to conception.
I feel quite fortunate that The Texan and I did not experience infertility when trying to become pregnant five years ago, but 1 in 6 couples will face infertility issues. In fact, I have a close friend who has been on the infertility roller coaster for a few years. Doctor’s have told her to be patient, that it will happen on it’s own. What discouraging words from someone you’ve gone to for help, right? I am looking forward to telling her all about The Stork. Though I don’t know her complete medical history, I think she’d be interested in learning more!

Because this product is fairly new to market, your physician may be unfamiliar. The Stork website is packed with information that you can bring to your next visit and discuss this as a possible next step in your fertility treatment.
I am older now, and realize that if we decide to have another child, it may be a challenge for us. We may not be so lucky to conceive quickly. I am thankful that The Stork is an affordable and available option, and we’d certainly give it a try before other more invasive fertility treatments.
Please share this post with your friends and family members. Infertility is not often talked about, but someone you know could be struggling.
Infertility is SO isolating and doctors who don’t seem to care don’t help one bit. i’m always glad to hear of new options like this one!
Insurance issues are another thing that people are often faced with. If you’re lucky enough to have a doctor who is interested, many insurance policies don’t cover fertility treatments. This affordable option will make it more accessible to the average person!
I have been fortunate to find a Reproductive Endocrinologist who actually cares about her patients. She doesn’t see us as a dollar sign. She actually listens to us and hears us and builds a plan around our needs. We are currently on a TTC break, because of 3 failed cycles and an ectopic pregnancy just a couple of months ago. We’re saving up for our IUI cycles and when I heard about The Stork I called my doctor up immediately and she’s researching more information on it, so that she can know more. I’m hoping that within the next month, she’ll finally write me that script! I would love to be able to try as “narturally” as possible, before being even more invaded.
