As the lucky parent of a preschooler, I find that my home is overflowing with art projects, crafts, and other beautiful creations. Because The Texan won’t let me hang on to all of them, I’ve started looking for ways to preserve with artwork without necessarily having to keep the original hanging around the house.
When I stumbled upon Get Uncommon and saw that you could easily customize your iPad, I jumped at the chance. Creating a customized iPad case was a great way to preserve a special piece of The Boy’s artwork! It was easy to create an account on the Get Uncommon website and upload the artwork. {Using our home scanner, I scanned his artwork and saved it as a .jpeg. Easy peasy to upload!}
I am a sucker for handprint artwork. Isn’t this lobster absolutely gorgeous?
And the wonky discoloration is a cover up of The Boy’s name, the iPad case is printed perfectly!
The great thing about Get Uncommon is that you can upload anything you want – your kid’s artwork, your blog logo (oh, yeah!), or a favorite photograph. From there, you can customize your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. They offer a variety of cases depending on the model that you’re creating.
The quick video below is so sweet. You’ll want to customize a gift for all of the moms in your life!
And, one lucky Nap Time is My Time reader is going to win a $50 Get Uncommon gift certificate! Entry is easy by completing the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!

Thank you! He had a bit of help from his preschool teacher, but I love it! Scanning it and creating the iPad case was super easy. I might have to make one for my husband, too.
