I am a planner. An organizer. A researcher. A list maker. I’ve been known to make lists of lists that I need to make.
There are very few things that I jump into without taking a close look at the big picture. My husband often rolls his eyes when I say “We need a new…” because he knows that means much searching, browsing, and debate. And little buying. What can I say? It takes me a while to be sure that I’m making the right choice. Right now, I’m on the hunt for a new toaster and a juicer. So, any help you can provide would be great!
It’s been my experience that planning, and researching, yields the best results in the end. The few times I try to jump right in, it typically ends in disaster. I’d never take a vacation without researching where I was going and all the great spots to visit once I arrived.
Back when I was a workin’ gal, I worked on many projects that required lots of research and analyzing. I loved it! There are a variety of ways to interpret data, and I found pleasure in knowing that I could manipulate it however I needed to.
Do you look before you leap or jump right into to things?

that is definitely my personal personality! My husband on the other hand is a go with the flow type person…drives me nuts. lol. I always need a plan, and he just says, “whatever…let’s just enjoy it!”
Enjoy it??? How can I enjoy it if nothing is planned? lol.
I agree! It’s not possible to really enjoy something if I haven’t agonized over each detail it first! That’s why vacations are so much fun.
I am not a fly by the seat of your pants kind of gal I have to plan ahead and go over something over and over and I still end up skipping over something important.
I am the family vacation planner. I need a list if what is available to do and then I start sub lists for free activities, what age is appropriate, etc. It makes my family laugh but use my lists.
I do look before I leap! I am the kind of person who likes to think everything through before I do it! I would love to be able to just not worry and take it day to day but i just cant!
I too am a planner. I find everything works out better that way, most of the time. When it doesn’t I know “At least I tried” Spurr of the moment is not for me.
I have to plan everything. I cannot buy anything or book a vacation without doing a lot of research. I like to plan my family’s activites in advanced.
I am SUCH a planner. Type A personality for ya. When I get to the store to buy something I planeed, sometimes I’m like, “Do I reallyyy need this?”
Love that! Planning is so much a part of my life, I’d be lost if I had to try things another way!
