I’m a lucky lady. After {a few} failed relationships in my twenties, I had luck finding my soul mate. I told you the story about the first date The Texan and I went on by the beautiful lake in downtown Orlando. Isn’t it amazing that I knew that he was the one right away?! Trust me when I say that finding your soul mate isn’t an easy road to travel, but it’s worth it in the end!
This year marks 10 years that The Texan and I have been together. Every day I am amazed that we share a lovely home, have an amazing son, and love each other deeply. Before meeting The Texan, I wasn’t entirely convinced that I would ever find my soul mate. I’d been through a few bumpy relationships and wasn’t exactly open to the possibility that it would happen for me. {I should drop a note in the mail to my friend Kristy, she’s the one who encourage me to try on-line dating.}
As I spend more time focusing on being present, which you’ll recall is my one little word for this year, I am more appreciative of all that I have. I am excited about what our future will bring us and of the adventure that we’re sharing together.
Have you had luck in finding your soul mate?

I think I finally got it right. I was married twice already. I got married when i was 19 to someone who was definitely NOT my soul mate. That lasted a year. I remarried at 23 and that marriage lasted 10 years before we split up. While we’re still friends, as a couple we just didn’t work. Still, I got my amazing son out of it! Now I’ve been with my current boyfriend for over a year, and everything seems to fit perfectly with him. So we’ll see! Congrats on ten years with your hubby!

It’s wonderful to hear that you and your current boyfriend fit so well together. I had a few long-term relationships prior to meeting The Texan, in the back of my mind I always knew that they weren’t “right” for me.

I found my soul mate when I was a teen, technically speaking. He kind of ran away from me for over 15 years but found me on Myspace and apologized for being an idiot. How could I not love a man like that? We’ve been together over 5 years now, happily married and with a family. You are right, it isn’t an easy road to travel and sometimes it takes time and a lot of growing up first.

That is so sweet! What a wonderful story, thanks so much for sharing.

I am married to my soulmate/bff love of my life husband Todd. We’ve been together almost 10 yrs now.
We met online dating and neither of us believed in soulmates before we met, nor were either of us looking for a serious exclusive relationship , we both thought we wanted to stay single for the rest of our lives after our divorces from horrible marriages.
We were overwhelmed by one another and inseparable and exclusive after our first date to both of our shock lol
