Do you remember your first cell phone? I’m having a hard time remembering all the details of my first phone, but I know that it could not give me current weather forecasts, retrieve email (wait…did I even HAVE an email account way back then?!), or play music. About the only thing it could do was place a call, if the antennae was in the right spot and the sky was clear!
Since that first cell phone, the technological improvements leave my jaw dropping most of the time! Seriously – I still can’t get over the camera phone. Love it. Always have. Especially as a busy mom, I want to be able to grab and go – without looking like the Beverly Hillbillies. (Not that there is anything wrong with the Beverly Hillbillies, I just don’t want to drive around with so much stuff!)
With the HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon Edition, I’m able to do just that. On a recent weekend trip to the beach, I grabbed my phone and the Onyx Studio Speaker and we were out the door. After airing down the tires, driving a mile overland at 5 mph, and unpacking our cooler, grill, and chairs, the next thing to do was get the tunes going!
The HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon Edition quickly and easily connects to the Onyx Studio Speaker using Bluetooth. Simply enable it on the device and it will find your Bluetooth devices. The Onyx Studio Speaker has 4 internal speakers for superior sound and will play for 5 hours using the internal rechargeable battery. As a part of Sprint’s new Sprint Sound Sessions, Sprint is giving customers access to Spotify’s catalogue of more than 20 million songs. Can you imagine having access to any song you want when you want it and be able to hear it clearly?
If you like to capture every moment on camera (like me!), you’ll LOVE the camera feature of the HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon Edition. There’s a selfie option (fun!) as well as a dual camera feature (take a photo of your hubby grilling while you’re sitting down relaxing!). You can easily see your pictures on the large, clear 5″ display.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to listening to music and taking some pictures!

The double picture option alone is amazing!
Oh the duel camera option sounds cool! My first phone was such a brick- but it was a flip phone too, so I felt pretty cool. Even had an antenna you had to pull up to get better reception.
Ah! Flip Phones – those were so ‘cool’!
That phone looks awesome. I can’t wait to go to a cell phone store and try it hands on. Might make me switch from the iPhone 😉
This sounds like a really cool phone! I love the dual camera option & the speakers sound amazing!
This phone sounds amazing!!!
Wow this is SO cool! I am loving this phone!
This sounds like a great phone! I remember the days of pulling out the antenna… hahaha! I also swore I’d never have a non-flip phone LOL. Obviously I didn’t know that iPhones and HTCs, etc were to come 😉
I totally had a flip phone, too. Didn’t get it until I was in college! I love having a phone that wirelessly connects to a speaker. #technologyisawesome
My very first cell phone was a clunky Nokia flip phone with a huge battery attached. It probably weighed at least 5 lbs. 😉 And text messaging hadn’t been invented just yet…lol Heck, people still carried around pagers. 😉 This phone looks pretty cool! (My how technology has progressed!)
I’d forgotten about pagers! Talk about a blast from the past!
I’m so old I remember bag phones. LOL
Oh, Deb – I remember those, too!
This sounds like an incredible phone!!
Holy cow the features sound awesome! And I SO loved my flip phone 🙂
LOVE HTC!
Super jealous, this phone makes mine look like a dinosaur!
I’ve heard this phone is awesome!
