Are you an instagrammer? If you aren’t, what are you waiting for?! I love, love, love it! (I’m @naptimeismytime, would love you to follow me over there!) If you love photographs too, or think you might want to try sharing your photos with others, you should check out the awesome InstaFriday series over at LifeRearranged. It’s a fun place to share your week in photos and take a look into the lives of others. So much fun to see what others are doing!!
Last Thursday, I flew to Atlanta for five days of bonding with my blogging peeps at the Type A Parent Conference. {It was my first time ever leaving The Boy for more than one night. In the days leading up to my flight, I thought that I would die not seeing him. Turns out, we both survived just fine. The Texan handled the weekend just fine, much to his surprise.} The conference was an amazing experience. Once I process all that I learned, I’ll share it with you here. For now, you’ll have to live vicariously through my photographs!
It was a beautiful day to travel. I was sad to leave Cape Cod knowing that I could possibly return home to cooler temps and rain.
The view from the room at the Westin Buckhead was beautiful. Simply beautiful.
I didn’t take many photos at the conference, but did snap this one in Target. I need to find this wine. The label looks fun, but I didn’t want to risk having to walk back to Target for a new bottle if it turned out to be crap.
This week, I’ve been quiet on Instagram. I don’t have a good reason. It’s the start of a new month, and I’m working on a few projects for the blog. Mostly, I’ve been spending time with The Boy during the day – and trying NOT to take his photo every four seconds. Next Thursday (October 10), I’ll be very active on Instagram as I’m chronicling my day in the life. I’d love to see you there – and if you’d like to participate, use the hashtag #dayinthelife!
For now, I need to get back to work.
Yes, that is a dragon in the background protecting my chai tea. You can never be to safe when drinking a chai tea!
How was your week?

The bridge photo tugged on my heart. I was there this past July visiting good friends, but would not mind making it my permanent home. Now if only I could get my husband to agree….

Oh Laura – it is soooooooo quiet here in the winter & the cost of living is crazy outrageous. I’d love to move but my hubby loves it here!

This post totally mimrrored what I just wrote about. Stepping back and taking a break from things that are not as important as I once thought they were. That bridge pic is gorgeous.

I took more away from Type A than I thought I would. I’m focusing even more on my – reminding myself of my one little word for the year, and enjoying me. I do have a few ideas for more personal posts, things that I want to get out there. I feel energized and excited about what the next few months will bring.
Catch up with you soon!

Have you tried Fancy Pants yet?!
Emily says
I have not! It’s just getting to be “red wine drinking season” here. I’m looking forward to trying it – the label was too cute! Is it available in your area?
