It’s finally arrived. The holiday season is in full swing. And our week in photos are about to get more fun and festive. Woo-hoo! I love this time of year. We’re able to kick back and relax and watch the wonder all around us. This year, I plan to enjoy the holidays and not worry about impressing so-and-so or being at everyone’s holiday party or cooking a fancy feast for Christmas (thinking of brunch, instead of dinner).
Last Friday marked the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination. I’ve always felt like it happened so long ago; like most historical events.
I spent most of the week being busy planning an amazing Thanksgiving meal.
Every year, I make my own cranberry sauce. Typically I make it only at Thanksgiving. I don’t know why, I love it. LOVE IT.
Would you believe that I did not take a single photo of our Thanksgiving meal. I did remember to snap a shot of my favorite treat of the day. Do you have mimosas on Thanksgiving morning, too?
Today, we went to the tree farm to cut down our Christmas Tree. We had to visit two farms before finding The One.
Waiting, rather impatiently, for the tree to be chopped.
It’s gorgeous! I cannot wait to bring it inside and decorate it!
What are you doing with yours?
If you’ve been stopping by the blog regularly, than you’re already aware that I love to share my week in photos from Instagram photos almost every Friday. It’s a great way to give you a little peak into my {super awesome} life and share my quirkiness too. (I’m @naptimeismytime on Instagram and would love you to follow me over there!) I link this post with the awesome InstaFriday series over at LifeRearranged. You should check that out too, lots of great photos and great ladies hanging out!
