The Boy is growing up so quickly. In December, we {finally and reluctantly} decided to convert his crib into a toddler bed. When I sneak a quick peek at him at night before I go to bed, he looks as if he’s going to quickly outgrow the mattress. It looks like we’ll be shopping for a mattress soon, and I’m thinking of getting him a tempurpedic.
The Texan and I have a wonderful, high quality organic mattress that we both enjoy sleeping on. One side is firm and one side is plush. Isn’t it great that we were able to each choose our comfort level? I am concerned that The Boy won’t be sleeping on a mattress that he finds comfortable if we select a traditional mattress. A tempurpedic might be the right choice for The Boy because it is designed to reduce the amount of tossing and turning you’re doing, offers contouring support, and you don’t have to flip the mattress! Another great feature to purchasing a tempurpedic is that the mattress will be resistant to allergens and dust mites.
What type of mattress did you choose for your children?

termperpedic mattresses are awesome for toddlers with sleep problems (apnea, etc.) – as with grown-ups with sleep issues. I’ve heard many parents and doctors say that it can be a solution in itself to all kinds of sleep problems!
