Hello Friends!
We’re doing an above average job eating what we’ve planned. Last week, we moved some meals around and made a few slight adjustments to our menu plan. I feel like we’re doing a bang up job!
The weather is starting to cool off a bit, so this week we’re having some meals that heat you from the inside out. Comfort foods.
Monday: Baked Chicken with Macaroni and Cheese. The lazy gal’s meal.
Tuesday: Meatball Sandwiches with tater tots. Tuesday is a rugby day. I like to keep things simple.
Wednesday: Chicken Parmesan with linguine. The Texan is making this for my birthday dinner. It’s my favorite! I think we should eat some Peanut Butter S’mores Bars to celebrate, too!
Thursday: Turkey Chili. First batch of the year is always my favorite.
Friday: Homemade pizza. We’re really on a caramelized onion kick. Do you have a favorite topping that you always add to your pizza?
Saturday: Homemade chicken wings. During College Football season, we almost always have wings for dinner on Saturday nights. It’s quick, easy, and perfect game day food!
Sunday: Tortellini soup. I am looking forward to making this recipe. I’ll let you know how it turns out, right now I’m not sure what is going into the soup!
It’s funny how much of this week’s menu plan is Italian themed. Italian cuisine is one of my favorites! What is your favorite type of cuisine?
